People have asked me to write a Daily Blog.   They seem to want
me to give them a thought or two each day.  About what?    Well,
we'll just have to wait and see.  As, I see it, a blog is a personal
statement.  I will try to make it entertaining and relate it mostly to the
    stock market.

I do promise not to belabor the obvious. So, I hope these thoughts,
reflections and finds are worth your time.  I will give you my best
.

As it fills up, it will be organized by month and topic
Look for something new most every day.  If you find
it helpful, buy something from us.  You'll be glad you did.
Tiger could easily be one the best investments you ever made.

The Exporting of High Tech Jobs Is Only The First Stage
Now US High Tech Jobs Are Going To Specially "Green-Carded" Non-Americans.

Humor: If GM Cars Were Built by Microsoft.
And Is Bill Gates Really The Anti-Christ?
                           and
   Microsoft's Stock Looks Vulnerable

I got an old customer back this week.  He had been laid off when his high-
tech company moved from California two years ago.  Now the company has
moved back.  And he has been re-hired, but at a lower salary!  Some folks
would say that I should not concern myself with whether or not American companies
keep their workers here and what they pay them.  But this little story teaches me
that I will benefit as a businessman if my customers, many of whom are high tech
professionals, are paid a decent wage and their jobs are not sent overseas.
So, you see, it is my business.

Goldman Sachs says that up to 6 million white collar jobs will be lost in the US over
ten years, due to outsourcing.   Asked about this in the 2004 Presidential Debates,
Bush said someone whose high-tech job is outsourced should go back to community
college and retool.  "I have a Computer Science degree, so I should   go back and
get a degree in. . . what?" asked one jobless worker posting in a ZDNet forum. Said
another: "I'm nearly 50, with 20 years in the IT field, and can't get a job 2 years after
being laid-off due to outsourcing. I'm supposed to go back to school -- and do what?"

NY Times, 2/15/2004:"Many New Causes for Old Problem of Jobs Lost Abroad"

There has been a considerable comeback from the days of the biggest layoffs between 2001
and 2004.  But the layoffs continue at places like Micro Technologies and now there
is a new threat to IT workers.

                     The Green-Carding of American High-Tech

Now Microsoft's Bill Gates says that he just can't find enough qualified American
workers.   He urges Congress to increase the immigration of high tech employees
because there are not enough qualified professionals here.  What self-serving tripe!.
He knows he can  pay someone from India who can get a  "Green Card" much less.
He just wants to make more money!  How much more money does he need?
Every day qualified high tech workers are being laid off in the US  as obscenely
over-paid corporate executives seek a higher profit margin by exploiting
American workers who must longer and longer hours, for smaller and smaller pay
checks. .That's plain wrong and it hurts my business, too!

The Washington Post has recently run an article showing that Microsoft does
not even recruit on any California State University campus.  One lady wrote:
"The H-1B program is simply a ploy by Bill Gates and Michael Dell to flood the
American market with cheap foreign labor and to bring down wages in America.
My husbands job was offshored and he's had difficulty finding another one. He has
two Masters degrees from Universities in the US. How much more educated can
he get? No one can be an idiot and make it through 2 Masters programs."

Now with so many high tech jobs going overseas, many students do not trust
American companies.  Why should they learn the skills for a job which will probably
be outsourced, or for which there will be a green-carded high tech professional?

"The vast majority of American companies that hire foreign worker through the
H-1B visa program do not have to prove - or even declare - that they have searched
for American workers first.'  Foreign workers can be hired under this program for
up to six years.  (Atlantic Journal Constitution - 5/20/2007)

The Watchdog agency of Congress, the General Accounting Office, says there are
serious flaws in two oft-cited reports from companies like Microsoft that claim that the
nation is suffering from a shortage of  technology workers.  (Goggle "Boston Globe article

                 BILL GATES VS GENERAL MOTORS
        (Source:
http://www.lifeisajoke.com/miscellaneous7_html.htm   )

At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated that :- "If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving twenty-five dollar cars that got 1000 miles to the gallon."

In response to Gates' comments, General Motors issued a press release stating:

If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics:

1. For no reason whatsoever your car would crash twice a day.

2. Every time they repainted the lines on the road you would have to buy a new car.

3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason, and you would just accept this, restart and drive on.

4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn, would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine.

5. Only one person at a time could use the car, unless you bought "Car95" or "CarNT". But then you would have to buy more seats.

6. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, reliable, five times as fast, and twice as easy to drive, but would only work on five percent of the roads.

7. The oil, water temperature and alternator warning lights would be replaced by a single "general car default" warning light.

8. New seats would force everyone to have the same size butt.

9. The airbag system would say "Are you sure?" before going off.

10. Occasionally for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key, and grab hold of the radio antenna.

11. GM would require all car buyers to also purchase a deluxe set of Rand McNally road maps (now a GM subsidiary), even though they neither need them nor want them. Attempting to delete this option would immediately cause the car's performance to diminish by 50% or more. Moreover, GM would become a target for investigation by the Justice Department.

12. Every time GM introduced a new model car buyers would have to learn to drive all over again because none of the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car.

13. You'd press the "start" button to shut off the engine.

Is Bill Gates Really The Anti-Christ?

The real name of "the" Bill Gates is William Henry Gates III.
Nowadays he is known as Bill Gates (III), where "III" means the
order of third (3rd.)

By converting the letters of his current name to the ASCII-values
and adding his (III), you get the following:

B 66
I 73
L 76
L 76
G 71
A 65
T 84
E 69
S 83
+ 3
--------------
666 !!

Some might ask, "How did Bill Gates get so powerful?" Coincidence?
Or just the beginning of mankind's ultimate and total enslavement???

YOU decide!

Before you decide, consider the following:

M S - D O S 6 . 2 1
77+83+45+68+79+83+32+54+46+50+49 = 666

W I N D O W S 9 5
87+73+78+68+79+87+83+57+53+1 = 666

Coincidence?

   Micorsoft's Stock Looks Vulnerable

MSFT's stock has essentially missed the 2003-2007 bull market.  It has
gained very little since the market's bottom in March 2003, when it was 23,
up only to 29.47.  Meanwhile, the DJI-30 has risen from 7500 to 13,500
the Indian Stock Market has boomed from 3000 to 14,100 or +367%.

Its Tiger chart shows it to be under Big-Money Distribution.  Bill Gates is still
a very big seller.  And the stock is again under-performing the DJI-30.
