DJI-Intermediate-term Bullish-Mode2

DJI-Intermediate-term Trading Range-Mode3

Superimpose DJI Saved Signals - Peerless saves historical DJI-signals and allows you to place on any chart you like.

Superimpose NASDAQ Saved Signals - Peerless saves historical NASDAQ PEERLESS signals and allows you to place on any chart you like.   This is available only with the TigerSoft program or the Full Tiger Programs.
Short-Term Buy 'b' - Very minor, short-term Buy signals.  Use carefully.

Original Short-Term Signals - Arrows show that new 25-day highs (down arrows) or new 25-day lows  are not
confirmed by On-BalanceVolume (red), IPA (blue) and Stochastic Pct-D-20 (black) making corresponding new lows.
These are short-term signals.  They work well as long as DJI is not trending up or down.  They often fail if
there has been a price breakout above well-tested resistance or a breakdown below well-tested support.

New Short-term Signals for Indices - These work much better in trading ranges. They often fail if
there has been a price breakout above well-tested resistance or a breakdown below well-tested support.
See HELP + Short Term Signals and click on the signal you wish to look up.

Optimized Signals II - This places optimized signals on the screen.  At the bottom you can
see basis and status of the 4 best trading systems for the time shown from among more than 60
systems. If no signals appear or you want to change the number of signals, go back to the
Tiger screen and use the Runs/Setups sub-menu at the top. Click on Set Inital Screen's Signals.
Set the box at the upper right to "Y" and enter the number of systems' signals you want, 1-4.  Then
click the Save button at the bottom.

Price vs Mvg.Avg. -  This lets you test a Buy and Sell system based on the price rising above (for
buys) or falling below (for sells) a specified moving average.  At the top of the screen the trading results
appear, allowing $40 per trade and assuming $10,000 was used trading it.

Mvg. Avg. Turns, etc.  - This tests the chosen system with the parameters user specified.
Indic.(1) -
Various Indicators can be graphed.  See Help routine: Indicators, Terms, Concepts.
Indic.(2) -
Various Additional Indicators can be graphed.  See Help routine: Indicators, Terms, Concepts.
Mvg.Avgs -
Various Moving Averages can be graphed.  We like the 21-day for intermediate-term trading.
Bands
The percent bands are built around the last moving average graphed.
Bollanger Bands show the way volatility expands and contracts.
Lines
Vertical Line - User Set B28, S28 - Places these signals on the screen wherever you specify. After choosing this
option, click on the chart where you want the arrow to appear. "Enter "B" or "S" for buy or Sell.  Other
choices are also available.

Vertical - Point and click. Draws a vertical Line and shows the DJI's close on the day specified.  This does not work if
you click a point in the first month shown.

Horizontal - Point and click.  Draws a horizontal line and shows the DJI's price at the level specified.

Diagonal - Click on two points in the chart. A line is drawn through them and extended to the right.
Where the line crosses on the last day is shown at the top.

Show 10% Correction Level.  Point at a top and click the mouse.  A line is drawn 10% below the peak
pointed at.  Very useful in guaging expected support levesl for DJI.  A move below the 10% level is
bearish.  If there has been no major Peerless Sell Signal and the DJI declines more than 10% from
an all-time high, switch to the Bearish Mode. See 1977 chart.

Rubber Band between 2 points.  Point and draw a line.  Very handy.

Least Square Line. Suggestinve of the trend for the last year.  Shows bands 2 standard deviations
above and below the Least Squares line.

Regression Chanel Statistics.  Shows how wide the regression channel bands are and the
slope of these Lines.

Partial Chart Regression Channels - Lets you draw a regression channel over a part of the chart.
Click on the two points.  This is handy for seeing when short-term rally ends.   For this
look for a close below the lower rising line.

Likely Retracement Levels - First, click the mouse once as you point at a bottom before the rally begins.
Then click on the high point of the rally.  That produces three dotted lines.   The highest shows
a 33% pullback.  If prices do not pullback more than this the trend is almost certainly up.
The next line represents a 50% pullback.  The third line shows a 67% correction.   Such a pullback
this deep is usually a bearish sign.

Additional Lines can be chosen.  Experiment with them.

Zoom Screen - A sub-screen appears showing only a smart part of the chart.  Move the mouse
and the sub-screen shows a new part of the screen.  Handy for magnifying part of the screen.

Explode - Point to two different spots on the screen.  A Detailed chart of that area appears.
