Common Characteristics of
Pirated Internet Software
They act as an agent or representative of TigerSofts to approach traders.
TigerSoft does not authorize any web site other than TigerSoft to sell TigerSoft products.
- They don’t have a telephone number or a street address. All communications
go through e-mails.
- Most of those individuals are in foreign countries. Their prices are marked as
“USD” and request payments through Western Union. They don’t accept credit
cards or checks. Any money sent to them exposes a trader
to great financial risk.
- They tell you that TigerSoft sells a protected one-person only version.
- There were reports that some people paid money, but never got a working
software, and no way to get a reply or money back.
- Some people even found computer viruses in the pirated CD or the downloading
files, and people had
to finally format the hard drive all over again etc.
- If a trader attempts to use their pirated trading software, they may or may not
know that they have just viewed a chart with the wrong signals, wrong colors, wrong
scales, wrong values and possibly experienced many other problems.
The pirated software impact to trading almost certainly will be detrimental.
