Instructions for Downloading Data:
Depending on the browser you use, here is how to
open the data below and place it on your computer.
The biggest problem you are likely to encounter is that
your computer's security system will not permit opening
these data files right from the internet. This is solved
by either temporarily turning off your computer's security
system (Norton or McAfee) or saving the file to your computer
and then opening up them using Start. Save the file into c:\
and write down the filename. Then Open START and RUN.
Enter the file name after "c:\". Thus, you might RUN
c:\peer04.exe or c:\data
In the case of data.exe, note that this can be saved into
any directory created by the procedure PEERCOMM + SELECT +
filename. The other files automatically go into the designated
directories (folders).
More Detailed Instructions.
1. Internet Explorer & Windows XP
Point the mouse at the link, click the left
(or right) mouse key and choose RUN. You may be asked if
the file is safe, free from viruses. Click Yes.
Note, if your computer cannot open the file
in this fashion, it is because of the anti-virus programs
you are using. In that case, either change the firewall
settings or save the file to your computer and open it there.
I suggest saving it to c:\ where it will be easy to find.
2. Internet Explorer & Windows 2000
